What kind of bakery are you?

We are a plant based bakery, specializing in vegan baked goods inspired by traditional Hong Kong bakeries and our favorite childhood treats. No animal products are used in our baked goods. We do not use traditional butters, milks, creams, eggs, lard, artificial additives, or preservatives in our offerings. Instead we choose to use plant based ingredients derived from fruits, beans, nuts, seeds, vegetables, and grains.

Where are you located?

We are based in Saratoga, California.

Do you have a storefront we can go to?

Come find us on Fridays and Saturdays at 14572 Big Basin Way, Saratoga, CA, 95070 from 11-3pm!

Why are you only open 2 days of the week?

It takes approximately 80 hours to operate from the mixing to fillings to shaping to cleaning. All butters and most fillings are made in house with plant based ingredients. This is a two person operation with a bit of help from the family. Each week starts with preparations done on Mondays and work is done every day till Saturday. In addition to the bakery, Keith and I both have another part time job and we have two little ones. We occasionally close for private events, illness, or family time.

When is your next pop up?

Please check out our events page for upcoming pop up information. We occasionally pop up in the East Bay.

Can you do custom cake orders?

Not at the moment. We are limited in our production capacity, we hope to in the future!

Do you ship?

Due to the short shelf life, we are unable to ship at this time. Our treats are typically baked the day of the event and the shelf life is best enjoyed within 2 days.

Do you offer gluten free?

Not at the moment. Since we are a small bakery, our production capacity is really limited. We hope to be able to expand and offer gluten free treats one day!

Are you nut free? oil free? sugar free?

We are not. All of our products typically contain avocado oil, coconut oil, grapeseed oil, and organic cashews. We use organic cane sugar for all our baked goods. Depending on the treat, they may contain nuts. Please let us know if you have any specific allergens.

What kind of products do you use in your treats?

We use organic ingredients whenever possible! Organic coconut oil, organic cane sugar, organic soy milk, organic cashews, and organic flour is the base of many of our treats. We also use fair trade chocolate and rainforest alliance certified.

Do you make your own fillings or butter?

Yes! We make all of our fillings, with exception of the chocolate hazelnut spread, from scratch. We also make our own vegan butter using organic cashews, organic coconut oil, and organic soy milk for our cookies and croissant treats.
